Atomic Turtle - Tri Scope

A triple kaleidoscope made of brass, glass, and wood. I got this idea in 1995 but didn't act on the idea for more than ten years. And then we had a house guest stay in the glass room for a year, which further delayed this project. During those delays I was able to improve the design significantly over the 1995 idea.

The Tri Scope features three tubes with three different sets of optics. This gives the viewer a different display in each view port.

The base is a commercial lamp stand. Also pictured are the brass and glass mirror parts that will be used.

In this picture the eye pieces are just sitting in their mounts. They will be mounted properly in the final version.
